The Bible is a powerful tool for the Christian. This book should be used in the context of Biblical research, not as a guide to finding Christians. There are many other helpful tools in the book, but this article focuses primarily on the Bible and the Bible alone. I suggest that you use this article and the other tools and resources available in the book as a starting point. You are welcome to learn more about Christianity by doing your own research. If you feel that the resources in this book don't have enough information, or are too broad, please feel free to suggest additional resources or topics. If you would like to know more about this, please contact me.
I have used the following resources for this article: Christian Dating by David Johnson. This is a book that I have read, but I have not had much success with it. The author doesn't seem to know how to present his knowledge, and I think he would be better served by reading some of my books instead of this one. He doesn't seem to understand how I feel about chicas. By the way, the title of the book is simply "Christian Dating." You may want to see a title for your book. I hope that you find this article helpful. I will also be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
"You must have no fear of the Lord, neither be afraid of the wicked. For if you do these things, you will never be slaves again. For slavery leads to death, and the power of the wicked leads to destruction." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 I have no doubt that this verse is true. I will give you a little proof. There is a famous historical story about the slave who tried to save his master from the executioner's axe. He was so powerful that he managed to escape from the pit and save his master's life. It was an amazing story of faith, strength and courage. The slaves from that day onward were called chicas para citas. They would save the masters from death, or they would try to kill them. This kind of "Christian" would never do anything to hurt his master. That is why today we call these chicas para citas, we are so sorry for the crimes these slaveholders have done to the Christian people.
Today in Venezuela there are Chicas para Citas who believe that in order to live and survive they have to fight for a way of life free of capitalism. They believe that the capitalist system is evil and that they can't live without taking the risk of doing something "in defense" of themselves. They believe in doing what they feel is right, not for the people in power, but for their freedom.
These are not "real" Christians. It's very common for them to call themselves Christian and call the churches in the middle of the street and ask if they are Christian. They also believe in the Trinity, in one God, in Jesus, and that the Virgin Mary is the Holy Ghost, who was born from the virgin Mary. This does not seem to stop them, though. Some of the more religious members of the Catholic Church believe that they are "sinners" who have "fleshly sins" and need to be baptized to get rid of them. The truth is that there is no such thing as a "sinful heart" or a "bad conscience" but rather "a heart free from all sin." If the Christian doesn't "repent" of his sins, he is still sinning. For a lot of the people who have been converted from Christianity to Christianity, it's a difficult, but necessary, step to begin their conversion process. Many of the young people who come out of the church believe that they don't need to be baptized. They believe that their sins are their own sins, and that they just need to repent and receive forgiveness. That's not the way Christianity works. We are taught that all people have sin, and we are told to repent of our sins, even if they are small ones. The gospel is to turn the other cheek, to love our enemies, and to give to others what they need. All of that is taught by Scripture. But in order to do that, you must first make up your mind to be baptized. It is not something that you can do from the outside. If you aren't willing to do it, you have to start the process of making that decision now.
So that's the story of chicas para citas. But how exactly does one become a chica para citas? Well, if you know someone who is already baptised, don't fret. If he's willing to do so, you have nothing to worry about. If not, well, we'll just do the best we can. I guess we can still ask you to go to a church with us. If that's too much to ask, and you feel that you are going to lose your faith, then you are also not alone. There are a lot of people who are suffering the same as you do. They know someone who has just fallen away from the church, and they want to know what they can do to keep them. I know a lot of people that have become atheists since becoming more critical of Christianity. They've heard it said many times that it is impossible to convert Christians to atheism, but it is a fact, and it is quite easy to make them fall away. One of the first things we have to do is to start talking to people about this issue.
